Hadiqa Kiani performed at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Event held on 18th October, in Lahore. This was a Charity Event for breast cancer research at SKM; part of the SKM Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign 2009. Shaukatkhanum website writes on its website about the event as:
"Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital takes pride in the fact that it has been providing financially supported treatment to over 75% of its patients since nearly 15 years now. Much of the cancer burden at the Hospital comprises of breast cancer, covering the cost of which is usually much beyond the financial capability of individuals. A charitable fundraiser in support of breast cancer patients was organized in which Hadiqa Kiani contributed by performing live at the event on October 18, 2009. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the enchanting performance."
